Website Administration Volunteer

We are looking for a volunteer to help update and maintain our website content on a regular basis.  You must be able to perform basic site maintenance (updates, backups, minor fixes) and be able to monitor website security and functionality.

About Bridge for Young People

Young People and Children First, known as Bridge for Young People, provides a home and support to young people (aged 16-25) who are leaving care or who are homeless. We currently have three houses in West Berkshire; Wessex House, Rebecca House and Hope House.

Our residents have typically experienced varying challenges during their childhood. We provide them with a stable home, emotional support and practical help during this crucial time as they move into independence.

What skills do I need?

• Experience with WordPress or similar platform preferred

• Basic understanding of website maintenance

• Strong attention to detail

• Passion for supporting charitable work

When is this role available?

This is a flexible role available on various days/times.

Details

Time commitment is initially 10 hours for the first month (during office hours), then approximately 5 hrs a month remotely. The location is initially on-site, but can then become remote as needed.
