Bridge for Young People
Do You Love Baking? We Need Your Help!
Bridge for Young People is looking for volunteers who enjoy baking to help support our charity and bring a smile to the young people we work with.
If you enjoy making cakes, biscuits, or savoury treats, you could help by:
- Baking items to sell or raffle to raise funds for our charity
- Providing homemade treats for our young people to enjoy
- Taking part in seasonal baking for occasions like Christmas, Easter, and other celebrations
Your baking skills can make a real difference—helping us raise funds and giving our young people something special to enjoy.
Young People and Children First, known as Bridge for Young People, provides a home and support to young people (aged 16-25) who are leaving care or who are homeless. We currently have three houses in West Berkshire; Wessex House, Rebecca House and Hope House.
Our residents have typically experienced varying challenges during their childhood. We provide them with a stable home, emotional support and practical help during this crucial time as they move into independence.
If you can bake - that's all the skill we need! Choose the events and opportunities to suit you.
This is a flexible role available on various days/times.
Time: Flexible. Commitment: Ad Hoc. We will contact you with details of baking events, and let you decide if you wish to help by baking something special for us.
