Volunteer to visit older gentleman with many interests and hobbies

How about visiting a really interesting gentleman who has previously enjoyed many interests and hobbies, which he is now unable to go out and enjoy.  To have somebody visit and enjoy chatting about his hobbies and hear about your interests, would make a huge difference to his life.  Due to health complications and bad arthritis, he is rather isolated.  To have a visitor and feel like he can share his experiences of his hobbies or enjoy doing a jigsaw puzzle together, would be appreciated.  Very flexible opportunity with a really friendly, interesting guy.  Lives in Tilehurst

Enrych Berkshire supports and encourages adults with a physical disability to become more active and independent. Aiming to enhance their quality of life, improve physical and mental health, reduce social isolation and to aid rehabilitation and integration into mainstream society.

Members are paired with a like minded volunteer on a one-to-one basis, enabling them to enjoy a leisure activity or learn a new skill. We put practical support in place for members to enjoy activities such as walks, swimming, playing games, going to the library or cinema, joining a club or learning a new skill.
