Activity Organiser - 1st Newbury Cubs

Berkshire Scouts

If you’ve got a smile on your face, you love getting stuck in, and you're proud to include everyone, then being a Cubs Team Member is perfect for you. 1st Newbury Scouts has two Cub Packs that meet on Wednesdays and Thursdays 6pm-7.30pm in term-time, that are actively welcoming new volunteers.

No experience necessary and we will provide you will all the training you require to help our energetic 8 to 10½ year olds on their journey to gaining skills for life.

As a Cubs Team Member, you might:

Plan a super sports night

Organise a trip to a museum

Build a spaghetti bridge

Plan activities to complete some badges

Work as a team to build a great programme of activities

One week you might be whipping up tasty treats in a baking bonanza. The next? Diving into global issues or teaching them how to navigate with confidence (even if you have to learn it first!).

At Cubs, every session is a chance to explore hobbies, uncover hidden talents, and build resilience; all while having fun!

The best bit? You don't need to have done it before, just come along, enjoy it and try something new.
