Phoenix Resource Centre

Phoenix Resource Centre West Berkshire has an exciting opportunity for volunteers to interact with customers, support staff and be a part of a team.

You will be asked to work with staff in supporting customers with various activities such as arts and craft, cooking sensory, music and dance, social interaction and making everyone feel welcome and to make their day run smoothly as possible.

Phoenix Resource Centre provides various activities for people with Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities and people with frailty and dementia. We are looking for volunteers who have good communication, art and craft and gardening skills and any other hobbies and interests that they can bring to the centre to work with adults, who would thrive in a team environment.

About Phoenix Resource Centre

The Phoenix Resource Centre is a purpose-built day centre located in south Newbury, offering a welcoming and supportive environment with excellent facilities and experienced staff.

We support adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and those with frailty or dementia, helping people stay active, independent and connected to their community.

What skills do I need?

You are passionate about helping people in a day setting, keen, friendly and approachable.

People skills, good communication, art and craft, flower arranging, gardening, cooking and any other hobbies of interest that you feel you like to share with our customers and staff.
