Newbury Lions Club Members

Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organisation. Lions are individuals who volunteer their time to humanitarian causes in their local and global communities. Newbury Lions Club CIO provide fellowship, networking, social activities, monthly meetings. Service is our main function, fundraising for local causes and individuals. Providing stewards for civic events and promoting health care in the community. We would love to hear from anyone who would enjoy getting involved with a friendly group and having fun while serving the community.

Monthly meetings take place on a Thursday night at The Chequers Hotel Newbury. There is no obligation to attend every meeting.

About Newbury Lions Club

Fundraising. We organise and run events such as the Racecourse Fireworks Display, Duck Race, Santa Float and Speen Fete.

We are Stewards or Marshals at events such as Christmas lights switch on, Rotary club Santa fun run and West Berkshire Classic Car Show.

What skills do I need?

We welcome members from all backgrounds, interests and skills. We believe that everyone has a contribution to make!
