Education & Events Officer

The British Horse Society

We’re British Horse Society, or BHS.

As the UK’s largest equestrian charity, we’re here to help horses and everyone who cares for them enjoy the best possible life together. That means championing safety on and off road. Improving welfare. Supporting education. And making sure everyone, everywhere, gets the chance to feel the life-changing joy of horses – whether for the first time, or a lifetime. Because there’s no feeling quite like it.

For horses. For people. For life.

Our Education & Events Officers are a key part of local volunteering team. We are looking for self motivated volunteers keen to improve the provision of equestrian events in their local community.

If you are a great organiser and want to get involved with offering fun and educational opportunities to fellow equestrians, this could be the role for you.

From an educational talk in a village hall up to a pleasure ride for over a hundred riders, there's a whole load of activities that you could offer to give people the opportunity to learn, participate and fundraise with the BHS.

You can expect induction training and support!
