Community Volunteers needed

Do you want to make a real difference right here in our local area? We’re looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to join our team. Whether you can spare an hour a week or a few days a month, your time will help support people who need it most.

We especially welcome volunteers interested in:

Gardening help — tending community spaces, light outdoor tasks, and keeping our shared areas welcoming.

Baking — making cakes, treats, or simple bakes for community events, coffee mornings, and fundraising days.

Event assistance — helping set up, greet visitors, run stalls, or support activities during local events.

About Thatcham Memorial Foundation

Thatcham Memorial Foundation is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) that serves the people of Thatcham and the surrounding areas from its own 7.5-acre site in central Thatcham. The charity directly operates Thatcham Memorial Hall and the Memorial Playing Fields as a hireable amenity space.

No experience is needed — just enthusiasm and a willingness to help. You’ll meet new people and become part of a supportive community.
