Advice & Support Volunteer

Citizens Advice Tadley

Are you able to offer some of your time to volunteer in a client facing role, giving advice and information?

We are a very busy office with volunteers offering free information, help and advice, to inform people of their rights and responsibilities.

For our clients, many of whom are vulnerable, with long term-health term conditions, disabled or elderly, our help is life changing. Every day we tackle homelessness, reduce debt, maximise household income - putting food on the table, keep people in their homes, tackle fuel poverty and discrimination.

We help clients get the right help in the fastest time possible. We assess people's needs, either face-to-face, over the phone or by email and identify the most appropriate course of action.

At Citizens Advice Tadley we have different client facing roles, which all form part of our development pathway. All volunteers will progress through the structure starting with the reception role and moving towards the adviser role.  As a team member's skills and knowledge grow they will begin to progress through the roles, as far as they feel comfortable doing so.

Full training is provided.

Our office is in Franklin Avenue, Tadley, RG26 4ET. At the crossroads near Sainsburys Tadley take the turning for Franklin Ave, we are the first building on the right.
