Tilehurst Junior Youth Club

Tilehurst Junior Youth Club is recruiting volunteers to help with its activities.

Willingness to get involved with youth club activities such as arts and crafts, cooking, pool, table tennis, team games in the hall, disco nights, theme nights and karaoke.

To work within the Clubs Policies and Procedures.

This is a good opportunity to get experience that may be helpful in gaining employment and learning new skills.

No prior experience needed, support and appropriate training provided.

Directions: Tilehurst Community Centre above the Coop in the Triangle. Parking is available youth club accessed by Walnut Way in the main car park behind the Co Op. The number 15, 17 and 33 bus routes stop nearby.

About Tilehurst Junior Youth Club

We are a youth club for children aged between 8-12 who live in the Tilehurst area and run on a Friday night between 7pm and 9.30pm. We are independent non-profit largely run and lead by volunteers and junior leaders from the local community.

We offer a safe and secure environment for young people to enjoy themselves, make new friends and develop their social skills.

Our Programme of activities includes, arts and crafts, cooking, pool, table tennis, hall team games, disco nights, Healthy Eating, theme nights and karaoke. We also have activities relevant to the time of year eg: Pancake Making, Christmas Party.

What skills do I need?

Willingness to work as part of a team of with the other volunteers

Ability to engage and interact with the young people and have fun!
